

Join City Repertory Theatre for auditions for PUFFS (Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic), a hilarious and heartfelt parody that follows the overlooked students of a magical world as they navigate friendship, challenges, and the chaos happening all around them.

Puffs is a fast-paced parody that follows a group of well-meaning, underdog students at a certain magical school. While a famous boy with a lightning scar saves the world, the Puffs are left to navigate friendships, classes, and the chaos unfolding around them.
The play is comedic and heartfelt, focusing on overlooked characters who ultimately discover their own sense of identity, importance, and belonging.
Total Cast Size: 11–12 actors
Roles: 30+ characters through doubling
Gender: Flexible casting; all roles open to all performers

We are seeking performers with:
Rehearsals are typically held in the evenings, Sunday through Thursday.
Not all actors will be called to every rehearsal.
Tech week attendance is mandatory for all cast members.
This production includes parody humor and mild language.
Overall tone is PG-13.
